Leaders from Wasatch Academy Visit the International Programs of the High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University Jiangning Campus

On February 22^nd, Trustee Murph, Vice President Graham, Teaching director for China - Chris Dowling from Wasatch Academy, and AHEAD Education’s Director of Academics Department Danny visited the International Programs of the High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University Jiangning Campus.

On arrival, leaders from Wasatch Academy took part in a cordial meeting with all the students from the Wasatch Sino-America Program. Du Yang, as the student representative, expressed a warm welcome to the visitors.Du Yang also expressed her sincere appreciation to the High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University, Jiangning Campus, as well as the Wasatch Academy Sino-American Program. In particular, she thanked the memorable Chinese and foreign teachers in allowing her to become more confident in expressing herself and helping her to decide on the future direction of her life. She is now ready to begin her journey in the pursuit of knowledge

DuYang has been admitted to several prestigious American Universities.

During the meeting with the students, the leaders affirmed the growth and progress of all the senior students over the past three years. Their affirmation inspired the student to study harder. They then analyzed the admission requirements of the last two years for Year 10 and Year 11 students. To be more specific, they illustrated how to become the talents America needs by developing creativity and leadership. At the same time, they pointed out the advantages of the Wasatch Academy program for university applications and this provided a sense of confidence an inspiration to the students. After the leaders finished their speech, students were invited to attend a Q & A session. Overall, the teachers and students interacted effectively and the meeting was beneficial to all.

After the meeting with the students, the honorable guests were invited to attend a reception by the leaders from the International Programs of the High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University Jiangning Campus. At the reception, the international program recognized the achievements of the cooperation between the leaders of both schools. At the end of the reception, souvenirs were presented to the guests and photos were taken of all in attendance.
