“Dreaming of Xianlin and Thanksgiving” — 2016 UFS International High School Program Graduation Ceremony

At the end of the November, the 2016 UFS International High School Program Graduation Ceremony was held in the school hall. The theme of the graduation ceremony was "Dreaming of Xianlin and Thanksgiving". This is another gift for all the graduates: Growing up is to learn the meaning of life, willing to fulfill the social responsibility, and to be grateful for all the love and care in your life! The graduates, dressed in academic gowns, were greeted with congratulatory applause upon entering the hall.

International High School Band

The graduation ceremony officially began with a wonderful performance by the International High School band. The host gave a formal introduction to the guests and invited all attendees to stand and sing the national anthem.

Speech from the Principal

The principal of the UFS International High School program, Ms. CHENG Cailing gave a speech. Firstly, she congratulated all the students from the program for having completed it successfully. She also congratulated the students for the knowledge they had learnt, developing their abilities, broadened their horizons, harvesting friendships and enhancing their self-confidence in a multicultural environment. In addition, she expressed her hopes that students had learnt how to study, live, show gratitude and be thankful for the equal efforts of teachers and fellow students. She also hoped that all students could become more aware of international issues by communicating with foreign teachers, cultivate leadership qualities and enhancing the spirit of cooperation by taking part in many different activities. Finally, she sincerely hoped that all graduates had learnt how to make friends and enjoy life and wished all graduates a promising future

The Chairman of AHEAD Education, Dr. HE Miao, then congratulated all students in the UFS International High School Program for their graduation from the program and acceptance into one of the Top 50 prestigious universities in the world, including the University of New South Wales, University of Melbourne, University of Sydney and Monash University. He sincerely hoped that all students had developed effective thinking and learning habits and shared his idea that the gratitude and responsibility from the bottom of the heart will be a source of power which can support future life and study. He finished by saying that he sincerely wishes that all students will have a bright future!

After a short speech from the parent representative, Principal Mr.QIAN and Secretary Mr. DONG awarded the UFS graduation certificates to each student. The teacher representatives also recognized some outstanding students for excellent performances. In response to this, the graduate representatives expressed their gratitude to all the teachers by presenting flowers and gifts.
